Title
"BERNABET CONVICTED"
Subject
Tuesday evening the jury in the case of Raymond Bernabet, charged with the murder of the Andrus family, consisting of father, mother, and two children, last February, brought in a verdict of guilty as charged.
The deed was a most fiendish one and awoke horror in the community. The officers at once began on the case and at the time arrested Bernabet, as a suspect, but could not fasten the crime on him. They kept working and watching and were at last rewarded with a clew which they evidence that secured the conviction worked up and made into a chain of of Bernabet. The murder was a most atrocious one and Sheriff Lacoste and his officers deserve credit for the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator.
