Title
"New Grand Jury Will Investigate Mysterious Killing"
Subject
Lafayette, La., Feb. 10, - Jury Commisioners R.U. Bernard, Jasper Spell, Galbers Comerrs, Alfred Herbert and Clerk of Court J.G. St. Julien yesterday drew venires for the regular term of District Court in April. Some important cases will come up for disposition by the court, among them the case against Raymond Bernabet, who was convicted at the last session of assassinating the Andrus family of five members last February, and who secured a new trial.
The grand jury will investigate the case of Clementine Bernabet's daughter, who is charged with murdering the Norbert Randal family of six last November. Rev. King Harrison is also in jail, charged as an accessory to the crime.
It is thought that the entire matter of the mysterious ax murders will be investigated by the grand jury, and the probability is that some definite and satisfactory solution will be forthcoming relative to the motive or cause of these atrocious deeds.
